Collaborative Problem Solving
When I do family work with youth and parents, the model I often use is CPS. As a part of this work, the emphasis is placed on validation and collaboration among all family members. My philosophy of family work is that both parents and youth play crucial and complementary roles in healing the family, that is, there is not one person who needs to be "fixed," but that everyone needs to work together collaboratively and as a team toward growth and change.

I often incorporate the use of art techniques and sand
tray work into the therapuetic process.
Developing a supportive, gentle relationship with you to allow a safe space for you to explore your life is of the utmost importance.
